Who can request a Starter Pack?
Starter Packs are available to genuine sellers and small businesses sending customer orders from England, Scotland or Wales.
If you regularly send customer orders from mainland UK, you can request 100 free ADbag mailing bags, with delivery included.
ADbags are professional ecommerce mailing bags funded by advertising printed on the outside. You use them to send genuine customer orders, just as you would use ordinary mailing bags, just without paying for the bags themselves.

Each ADbag carries campaigns funded by participating brands. These advertisements pay towards the production and distribution of the bags, allowing eligible sellers to use them free of charge.
You may continue using your existing labels, courier and normal order-dispatch process.

Measure a typical packed order before choosing. Starter Packs contain one size only, and your selection cannot normally be changed after the request has been processed.

If stock is available, we assign your selected Starter Pack to the relevant print run. -

Your ADbags are delivered
Once received, you can begin using them for genuine customer orders.
Please do not submit more than one Starter Pack request. Duplicate requests may be removed.
Do you send more than 100 parcels?
The Starter Pack is intended for sellers who expect to use up to 100 bags within approximately 60 days or a print cycle which is every two-months.
If you regularly send more than 100 parcels during a 60-day period, apply for full ADbag membership instead.
Approved members can receive an allocation based on their evidenced parcel volume and qualify for repeat allocations in future print cycles.
Important Starter Pack conditions
Before applying, please note:

Starter Packs are available only to eligible senders in England, Scotland and Wales.

ADbag does not currently deliver Starter Packs to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man or addresses outside the UK.

Bags must be used for genuine outgoing customer orders.

Bags must not be resold.

One Starter Pack may be requested per seller, business, household or delivery address unless ADbag agrees otherwise.

Bag sizes and quantities are subject to availability.

Submission does not guarantee an allocation.

Requests made after a print cycle reaches capacity may be moved to the next available cycle.

ADbag may contact you to verify your details, confirm that you still require the allocation or ask about how the bags are being used.

Receiving a Starter Pack does not automatically create full ADbag membership.
Frequently asked questions
Are the bags really free?
Yes. Eligible sellers are not charged for the 100 bags or standard delivery to an eligible mainland UK address. Advertising printed on the bags helps fund their production and distribution.
Why is advertising printed on them?
ADbag enables brands to place campaigns on real ecommerce parcels. Brand funding allows eligible independent sellers to receive mailing bags without paying for them.
Do I have to promote the advertised brands?
No. You simply use the bags to send genuine customer orders. You are not required to personally endorse the brands or make promotional posts.
Can I choose more than one size?
Unfortunately, not. Each Starter Pack contains 100 bags in one selected size. Choose the size that best matches most of your orders.
Can I sell the bags?
No. ADbags are supplied for your own legitimate parcel shipping and must not be resold.
Can I request another Starter Pack later?
The Starter Pack is intended as an introductory allocation. If you require bags regularly or use more than 100 within 60 days, complete the full Seller Application, however, ADbag are discretionary over this and have made it possible to order after 60 days has lapsed from the previous order.
When will my bags arrive?
The form should display the print cycle currently accepting requests. We will email you if your allocation is confirmed and provide the expected delivery period. Manufacturing and distribution dates may change.
Can I use my usual courier?
Yes. Continue using your existing courier, labels and dispatch process. Ensure the delivery label is attached securely within the designated label area and does not obscure required information.
How should the ADbags be sealed or closed?
There is a 'fold to' line on the rear of the bag. To ensure the brand names are all visible, we would ask that the bags are only folded to this line and all labels you adhere are to be placed inside the 'Label area' shown on each ADbag.
Note: If you cannot adhere to this, we ask that you either use a different size bag or one of your own to send the particular parcel - Brands pay so that UK mainland sellers can receive FREE mailing bags and as such it is important that this rule applies wherever and whenever possible.
